This training has two components:

  1. Recruitment eLearners (online): Complete the four Recruitment eLearners to receive Recruitment Administrator 'edit' access in PeopleXD
  2. Workshop (in person): You will be invited to attend a workshop once you’ve been actively using the system for a couple of months.

eLearners: Half a working day (estimate), depending on the user.

eLearners can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection, at any time and completed in stages, if required.

We recommend users take regular breaks and aim to complete the eLearners in a day. 

Workshop: Half a day.

A brief summary of each Recruitment eLearner is listed below:

Recruitment Dashboard navigation 

Overview of the recruitment functionality in PeopleXD and guidance on basic navigation of this system, including identifying where key information can be located.

Preparing the vacancy for advertising

Update your vacancy ready for advertising on the University’s website or Internal Jobs Board.

Managing applications and selection process 

System guidance of the processes required post vacancy deadline. This includes system steps relating to generating shortlisting packs, screening of applicants, creation of interview schedules, and system management of applicants through the interview process.

Offering employment and managing rejections 

Some of the final system steps completed at the end of the selection process, including offering to the successful applicant and managing unsuccessful candidates.

Workshop

This hands-on workshop will help to consolidate your learning and give you the opportunity to ask questions and get additional guidance on key processes and system steps.

Book your eLearners

The links below will take you to the University's course booking system, CoSy. Once you've booked a course, you will receive a confirmation email.

You will also receive an email to confirm that your system access has been updated, following completion of all four eLearners.

Tips for completing the eLearners

  • Some eLearners include a test at the end to help embed the learning. You have up to five attempts to achieve the required 80% pass mark
  • We recommend you take notes throughout the course to help you complete the test
  • Once you have completed your course and have returned to the course list in CoSy, you may need to refresh the page to see your updated course status.

Attend a workshop 

Workshops are currently being delivered via Microsoft Teams. Our training team will contact you once you have been using Recruitment in PeopleXD for approximately two months.
