Navigation: People Management > Employees > View > Employee Search > Locate individual > View
- In the individual’s record, click on the CONTINUOUS SERVICE button, at the bottom right of the screen.
- The Details screen will open containing the following information:
- Original Date Joined - when the employee originally started employment
- Latest Start Date – employee’s latest start date, if rehired
- Continuous Service Duration - total continuous service accumulated in eligible appointments since Latest Start Date.
- Continuous Service Start Date
- Continuous Service End Date
- TUPE Date – for central use only
- Override Start Date
- Override End Date - not in use
- Appointment Summary – shows continuous service dates for all eligible appointments (non-eligible appointments will not appear in the summary box). This includes the continuous service duration at the point in time for each ended appointment. See the guidance on the HR Support webpages.
- In the Override Start Date field enter the date that needs to replace the current Continuous Service Start Date.
- Click SAVE, this will overwrite the date in the Continuous Service Start Date field.
- Where an override date has been added, a matching UDF record must be created. See Add and manage User Defined Fields guide, for system steps on completing the UDF.
