There are two elements to the Reward and Recognition scheme:

The Recognition Scheme: awarded as a one-off payment of £200 (gross), made at any time of the year, to recognise a one-off contribution or high performance by an individual or team. Payments awarded under this scheme are paid by Payroll following receipt of a notification form.

Awards for Excellence: awarded as either a recurrent or non-recurrent increment, with effect from 1 August, to recognise exceptional contribution over the preceding calendar year. Non-recurrent awards are paid directly by Payroll following receipt of a request form. Recurrent awards are paid by updating the scale point on the employee’s appointment in PeopleXD.
