A nomination under the Reward and Recognition scheme must be recorded against the appointment for which this assessment was made.
Examples include:
- Where the nomination was made for a specific piece of work, it should be recorded against the appointment held at the time.
- Where the nomination was based on all appointments held during the assessment period, it should be recorded against the longest-held appointment during that assessment period.
- Where the split between the appointments is equal (either in length or weight of nomination), choose one appointment against which to record the nomination.
- Where someone changed appointments since the assessment period, the nomination should be recorded against the original appointment for which the nomination was made.
In some cases, nominations will need to be recorded against ended appointments.
