Appointing guidance (online applicants): Create additional appointment

  1. Check if applicant has existing staff record
  2. No existing staff record > 'Create new employee' (online applicants)
  3. Existing staff record found:

3.a Employee transferring from a department to which you don't have PeopleXD access: Transfer from another department OR

3.b New appointment for an existing staff member: New appointment for existing staff OR

3.c Rehire ex-staff member

  1. Complete New Starter/Appointment appointing wizard
  2. Complete New starter checklist
  3. Commence new appointment

Create new additional appointment

  1. The Replace Existing Contract or Create New Additional Contract options appear.
  2. Select Create New Additional Contract.
  3. Click APPLY.
  4. This launches a three-step New Appointment appointing wizard.
  5. Proceed to the Complete the Appointing Wizard guidance, starting with Organisational Structure.
