Appointing guide for new and existing staff (online applicants)

3.b.ii Rehire ex-staff member

From within the Applicants or Duplicate Employee Check screen:

  1. Click NEXT
  2. Click on the dormant staff record to highlight.
  3. Click APPLY in bottom right to load a four-step appointing wizard - 'Rehire Person'.
  4. Complete the Appointing Wizard, starting with Person Information.
  5. Contact the former member of staff and request that they login to HR Self-Service to complete their onboarding checklist. 

NB When processing a rehire the Pay Group field may be set to read-only. If this needs changing contact the Support Team after completing the rehire.
